Problems logging in - mrsmith - 09-17-2011
I have been trying to log in all morning:
Every time I log in, I get the little box saying that I logged in successfully, and that I will be returned to the page last visited.
Instead it returns me to the forum index page, but not logged in.
I have tried 6 times, using 2 different browsers over the last 3 hours before actually managing to log in.
I am using a Mac, OSX Lion (Though I have had the same problem with OSX Snow Leopard as well)
Firefox 6.02
I have also tried using Safari
Any ideas what might be happening?

Do you mean you are having problems logging into the RealPunting forum or the RealPunting site?
Please clarify.
Usually these things are caused by not clearing out the cache on your browser. If you do that, then shut down your computer and reboot that solves 90% of problems.

Just the forum, my browser is set to empty the cache at every restart.

Oh rite...I think that automatic empty option often fails so worth doing it manually.
