Just to confirm, yes we do have to pay to put our numbers up, so if taking rest/break for any length of time it is not really cost effective to keep it up and of course it stops you from getting calls and having to let people down all the time. For this reason, a profile with a number is often a good sign that the lady is currently working and available.
