They will let you link to another site but that site must have one of their banners, your profile must contain your phone number, and you have to pay 1 credit a day for people to see the link. The reason that you must have a verified phone number is that is how the script thing they use allows the link to be seen. You have to tick the box "show my phone number" which costs £1 per day, and that then allows your links to be viewed on the profile.

I had my account deleted for some trumped up excuse and all the positive feedback I got was gone which lead me having to re register under a different name and email address ..
Still if those people were doing there job right the site wouldn't be littered with loads of scam profiles

Hi guys, i stumbled across this forum after a google search as adultwork have just robbed me for £2,000 yes that is three zeros. My user name was cplenextdoor and i was a seller on their marketplace selling mobile phones, laptops and other things girls may need in their day to day business. I have built up a feedback score of 73 all positve feedbacks when they removed my profile. The only explanation i have been given is that i was selling to fake profiles. Another way of looking at this would be that fake profiles where buying from me. The reason i had so much money in adultwork is that they run an escrow system where the money is held for 7 days after a sale, if after that there are no complaints the money is moved to the seller. I have not worked since january due to illness and this is mega bucks to me and i am really looking to get my money back. I wonder if someone could give me an idea of where to start? I have been through an email exchange with adultwork and they are not going to reinstate me or return my money. This is just plain theft. Thanks in advance for any advice. Sam.

Hi Sammy
I have seen your ads on Marketplace.
If it is Escrow can you contact them as you have exchanged goods for money? Someone has paid you, you have sent the goods etc. Do you have proof of purchase, posting etc?

Hi, Mike. Thanks for your reply. The proof of purchase i have is only the confirmation of sale email from adultwork. I have not thrown away any of my post office receipts with my special delivery details. So i have them all. Some items were delivered direct from the supplier, i have them details on my account statements. I thought escrow was a term for money being held by a 3rd party during a transaction i didn't realise it was a company or organisation. Do you know how i can contact them? I wil do a search now and see if i can find anything. Thanks. Sam.
Seems i was right, escrow is the term used for a 3rd party holding funds during a transaction. In this case adultwork.
